Holistic Healing and Re-Entry Support
Together Let’s Rise, is a non-profit 501(C)3, a beacon of healing and hope located in the heart of South Los Angeles, that was founded by Dr. Shadeiyah, a passionate visionary leader. At Together Let’s Rise, we believe every young person, no matter their history, deserves a future filled with healing, hope, and opportunity; no one should be defined by their past, especially not our youth. We are a community-based non-profit dedicated to walking alongside system-impacted, transitional-aged youth and their families, especially those living in historically marginalized neighborhoods like South Los Angeles. Our mission is rooted in radical compassion, healing justice, and an unwavering belief that transformation is possible.
We provide trauma-informed mental health support, housing assistance, education, workforce development, family reunification, and mentorship. But more than services, we provide a safe place to be seen, heard, and valued. Through our holistic program, we support youth who are often forgotten by society, youth navigating incarceration, those dealing with mental illness, substance abuse, unemployment , homelessness, poverty, and systemic oppression, and walk with them as they reclaim their voices, their worth, and their futures.
Our work is about more than programs. It is about healing the whole person, honoring their lived experiences, and giving them the tools and support to rise. By empowering our young people to play an active role in their recovery, our program has proven highly effective at helping them successfully reintegrate into their communities and live independently.
Together, we are not just changing lives, we are restoring dignity, rebuilding families, and reigniting the belief that a better future is not only possible; it’s already on its way. We do not simply offer services, we offer love, dignity, compassion, and hope. At Together Let’s Rise, we believe that healing is a collective journey. And we cannot do this work alone. Our Approach
INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENTLife can feel overwhelming when you’re navigating housing instability, trauma, mental health needs, or reentry after incarceration. Our case managers walk beside each youth to provide stability, guidance, and support. We offer help with accessing medical and mental health care, substance use treatment, and housing assistance, and we create personalized service plans based on each client’s needs. We’re here to make sure no one has to face these challenges alone.

BEHAVIORAL

SUPPORTIVE HOUSINGA stable home can be the turning point in someone’s life. For youth and families facing homelessness or unsafe living conditions, we provide housing referral services that connect them with safe, secure, and supportive housing options. When people have a place to call home, they can finally focus on healing, growth, and building the future they deserve.

EMPLOYMENT & EDUCATIONEconomic stability is key to long-term success. We help clients develop the tools they need to enter, and stay, in the workforce. Our employment and education services focus on soft skill development, career coaching, and job readiness. We empower individuals to build sustainable careers, continue their education, and take real steps toward breaking the cycle of poverty.

COMMUNITY

GANG PREVENTION & YOUTH DEVELOPMENTMany of the youth we serve have been exposed to gang culture, violence, or are at risk of joining gangs. We use a client-centered approach to help them identify underlying trauma, manage anger, and understand the mindset that fuels gang involvement. By addressing these risk factors with empathy and education, we empower youth to choose a different path, one rooted in growth, healing, and leadership.
